A Dallas Police Officer was fired after she was arrested for
DWI. A police officer pulled the former Dallas Police Officer over after she
was speeding and driving erratically. The officer in question had alcohol
on her breath. When asked if she had been drinking, she stated "not
She then, as the police officers normally do, refused to take the standard
field sobriety tests. Though not entirely clear, it is possible that she refused to take a
breath test, as well. The reason for this inference is that the the investigating
officer obtained a search warrant to obtain the officer's BAC level.
After the test, it was determined that she had a BAC level of 0.14%.
Though the criminal case is still pending, the Dallas Police Department
fired this officer.
