Southern University Athletic Director Greg LaFleur was arrested for prostitution. According to the police report, LaFleur was arrested for solicitation of prostitution. The offense occurred at 8:30 on a Sunday evening.
The Harris County District Attorney Office stated that the offense was a "straight sex for pay" kind of offense. that is, he picked up a female and offered to pay for sex. The female, however, happened to be an undercover police officer.
LaFleur was a former football player for LSU and the NFL. He was in Houston, Texas at the time for the Final Four. He has a previous arrest for assault family violence
Prostitution is a Class B Misdemeanor
for the first offense. As Texas takes these offenses seriously, the second conviction is a Class A Misdemeanor, as is the third offense. The fourth offense is a State Jail Felony.
