A woman in the Houston, Texas area has been accused of biting her sister’s nose off after a violent spat. The police told KSAT News that Lluvia Rodriguez was in an argument with her husband after the couple spent a night out on the town at various clubs. Rodriguez brought her sister along for the night of celebration, which quickly turned into tragedy. According to reports, Ivon, Lluvia’s sister, tried to intervene as her kin screamed at her husband.
The women were allegedly intoxicated at the time, and both in an emotionally heightened state. When Ivon jumped in front of her sister to apprehend her assault on her husband, Lluvia turned and bit off her sister’s nose. The victim was rushed to the Ben Taub Hospital, where doctors reattached the nose and were able to save it. Yet she will probably have a scar on her face for the rest of her life.
Lluvia was arrested and charged with aggravated assault of a family member. She is being held in a Harris County jail without bond.
