According to the Empire-Tribune, a major drug raid lead by the Drug Enforcement
Agency ended with 32 arrests, most of which were from Erath County. A
criminal complaint states that investigation dates back to 2008 but focuses
on incidents marked between 2011 and 2012. 32 people were arrested in
connection with the crime. All were charged with conspiracy to distribute
in an alleged methamphetamine operation.

organization was responsible for distributing many methamphetamine packages

illegal narcotics were seized in the investigation, along with more than $20,000.

in federal custody. Two of the suspects have been charged with possession
of a controlled substance and have been released from Erath County Jail
