Keller police have arrested T. James Burns, 44, of Arlington, Texas for
targeting teenage girls. Burns is accused of sexually assaulting female
high school students, all from the Keller area.
The Keller Police Department has a scheduled news conference about the
Burns’ case Thursday at 1 p.m., which will stream live on NBC 5’s website.
A two-week long investigation took place, which involved the Keller Independent

sexual assault of a child, with each charge being a second-degree felony.
Burns is currently behind bars at Keller Regional Jail on $400,000 bond.
Keller ISD officials said that the district is alarmed to learn of Burns’
arrest on felony charges of sexual assault involving high school students.
“While Keller PD continues its investigation we have confirmed the
suspect has never been an employee of the district,” Keller ISD
said in a statement.
Keller ISD noted that safety is a top priority to the district, and it
urged parents to talk to their children and notify the police if anyone
else has any other information regarding this case.
Keller police also pleaded with parents to discuss the assaults with their
children in case there are other victims that the department does not
