Ryan Snow came to Texas in 2012 when he was admitted to Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. Before coming to Texas, Ryan studied at Brigham Young University - Idaho where he met his wife Brittany, who grew up here in Texas. While at Brigham Young University - Idaho, Ryan majored in Spanish Education, and minored in Russian Education. As part of his undergraduate Spanish studies, he spent a semester abroad in Viña del Mar, Chile. Ryan also speaks Mongolian, as he lived in Mongolia for two years doing missionary work.
During law school, Ryan served as a Staff Editor on the SMU International Law Review. He received a finalist award for the comment he wrote as a Staff Editor on the International Law Review. He also was part of the SMU Civil Legal Clinic for two semesters where he served as a student attorney, and Chief Counsel respectively. As part of his Legal Clinic experience, Ryan had the unique opportunity to represent the interests of SMU Civil Legal Clinic before the Texas Supreme Court, by collaborating on and writing a "friend of the court brief" for Philadelphia Indemnity Insurance Company v. White, 490 S.W.3d 468 (Tex. 2016).
After his first year of law school, Ryan spent part of his summer clerking for the Honorable Amos L. Mazzant in the Eastern District of Texas. During the second half of his second year of law school, Ryan also worked as a law clerk doing employment based immigration. After his second year of law school, and under the supervision of attorneys, Ryan assisted the U.S. Pastor Council and Coalition of African-American Pastors in writing another "friend of the court" to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals for De Leon v. Abbott, 791 F.3d 619 (5th Cir. 2015).
Ryan graduated from SMU Dedman School of Law in May 2015, and joined Zendeh Del PLLC as an Associate Attorney. After joining the Zendeh Del Law Firm Ryan has had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of cases including family law cases, misdemeanor criminal defense, social security disability, personal injury, complex civil litigation, and appellate work. He now focuses on personal injury, social security disability, special education law, and appellate work.
