High School Students Arrested for Running Drug Ring

High School Students Arrested for Running Drug Ring

Several students at a Texas high school were doing much more than just attending classes. They were running a drug ring that included the sale of prescription drugs and marijuana.

When police first suspected that the students were operating out of the same school, they started an undercover investigation. A police officer was even sent in undercover to pose as a student. Based on the evidence gathered by this officer and several others, twelve juveniles were arrested for various drug crimes. They were suspended from school and are waiting to learn whether they will be expelled as well.

Ten of those arrested were currently students at the school, ranging from sophomore to senior class. The other two were former students that had already graduated. In total, twenty eight charges were brought against the twelve individuals. This drug crime bust was a success thanks to the efforts of several law enforcement agencies across the county.
